Self-loathing often stems from insecurities about physical appearance and intellectual shortcomings. Looks fade, past accomplishments sometimes can’t sustain their importance and illness can strike at any time.
It’s time to change your focus.
Everyone has negative qualities – keep reminding yourself that no one is perfect.
Think of your favorite person. What makes them so wonderful? It’s probable that their qualities don’t include physical traits or high accomplishments.
Make an effort to be nice to others. The more you care about others, the more others will care about you.
